If you need a reliable skip hire service, we are the answer required to service all your waste removal needs. Whether you need multiple skips, regular exchanges on multiple sites, or a single skip for a small project, our ever growing fleet of skip lorries are there to cater for your needs.

A variety of skip sizes

If you have not hired a skip before, then selecting the right size can be confusing. We would suggest choosing a bigger size if you are not sure. It can be expensive if you need to hire a second skip later. However, make sure you have the space to site a larger skip and your property has the right access for a skip vehicle. Our skip sizes can be viewed on the "Skip Info" page. Drop door skips for easy access are also available please ask for availability when ordering your skip.

Location & Permits

Ideally the skip should be sited on your own property. If this is the case no license or permit is required. If you have to place the skip on any area of the highway (a footpath, the verge or roadside) a permit from the local council is required. We are able to arrange this, please ask for details when ordering your skip.

Delivering your Skip

We have a large fleet of various size Skip Loading vehicles. We suggest 10ft width for access to your property however we do have a small lorry for those with tight access, please ask if you would like your skip delivered on the smallest lorry. 

Filling your Skip

When filling your skip, please ensure you fill it level with the top.

This is a legal requirement. It is actually against the law for our drivers to carry skips loaded beyond this point on the highways. Likewise, using boards around the side of the skip in an attempt to increase its capacity is illegal.

To prevent wasted space within the skip, we would recommend that any large bulky items you have to dispose of are broken down into smaller pieces.

Certain types of waste CANNOT be placed in general waste skips under any circumstances, if you have any of the following wastes, please let us know when ordering your skip and we can help you arrange disposal.

These include:

- Plasterboard ( Most skip hire companies do not allow plasterboard, however we allow 10% of the skips volume in each skip ) 

- Asbestos

- Fridge/Freezers

- Tyres

- Gas Cylinders

- Pressurised Containers

- Paint Tins

- Fluorescent Tubes

- Liquids of any description.
